Anybody who listens to music by The Beatles has to know the song I am the Walrus. This song makes absolutely noooo sense. John Lennon wrote a song that made no sense and it turned into a huge success. I decided to do some reasearch. It turns out that Lennon wrote this song after he found out that an english teacher was having his students analyze Beatles songs. So John Lennon wrote a song like no other, a song that was random but became very very popular.
If i had to guess what the meaning behind it was, I would go with how not everything is what it seems. It kind of goes along with assumptions. You can assume that the meaning is one thing, while in reality the song writer was shooting for something completely different. In all truth, I believe that there is no specific meaning to the song "I Am the Walrus," written by John Lennon, and sung by the Beatles.
I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together.
See how they run like pigs from a gun, see how they fly.
I’m crying.
Sitting on a cornflake, waiting for the van to come.
Corporation tee-shirt, stupid bloody Tuesday.
Man, you been a naughty boy, you let your face grow long.
I am the eggman, they are the eggmen.
I am the walrus, goo goo g’joob.
Mister City Policeman sitting
Pretty little policemen in a row.
See how they fly like Lucy in the Sky, see how they run.
I’m crying, I’m crying.
I’m crying, I’m crying.
Yellow matter custard, dripping from a dead dog’s eye.
Crabalocker fishwife, pornographic priestess,
Boy, you been a naughty girl you let your knickers down.
I am the eggman, they are the eggmen.
I am the walrus, goo goo g’joob.
Sitting in an English garden waiting for the sun.
If the sun don’t come, you get a tan
From standing in the English rain.
I am the eggman, they are the eggmen.
I am the walrus, goo goo g’joob g’goo goo g’joob.
Expert textpert choking smokers,
Don’t you thing the joker laughs at you?
See how they smile like pigs in a sty,
See how they snied.
I’m crying.
Semolina pilchard, climbing up the Eiffel Tower.
Elementary penguin singing Hari Krishna.
Man, you should have seen them kicking Edgar Allan Poe.
I am the eggman, they are the eggmen.
I am the walrus, goo goo g’joob g’goo goo g’joob Goo goo g’joob g’goo goo g’joo

:)
I am the walrus woooo. :)
I love how random the song is but that it has a meaning behind it. The meaning could be anything but only the writer knows the truth.
It's funny that he wrote something to be intentionally confusing. Still, you're probably right - the lines may have meant something only he would understand.
